LA Harbor Livestream

Yesterday The Man journeyed through the Port of LA after leaving Redondo Beach.

He tied up to a Public Dock for lunch, texted me a pic of his location, and gave me a call.

While we chatted I told him I had not looked for a webcam yet but it didn't take long to find one and I read him the information for the Livestream Webcam:

"The Port of Los Angeles has two livestream cameras: Camera 1 - San Pedro streams from the center of the Port of Los Angeles Main Channel in San Pedro, featuring views of the historic battleship USS Iowa, Wilmington Clock Tower, Everport Container Terminal, Terminal Island, and San Pedro Promenade."

I described the Cruise Ship, the Battleship, and the two tug boats I was viewing.

He asked if I could see Nell because he was right there. He was looking at the same ships as me but I told him he was not in the picture.

When he got underway and left the Public Dock I took screenshot after screenshot of Nell; 45 pics as he motored away from the camera. About an hour later he returned and 7 more pics were taken. I texted our niece Charlene and she watched the livestream along with me also taking screenshots.

This morning The Man discovered that it was possible to capture video of the previous 24 hours from the Livestream webcam and I was able to capture videos and (more) snapshots of the three times Nell cruised by the camera.

Third Pass ( ~ 2:30 pm), The Man said the Harbor Patrol was looking at him otherwise he would've waved to Charlene and me.

Prior to The Man's arrival the tugboat, Delta Teresa, berthed at her dock.

A few minutes later Nell cruised by heading to the Public Dock, looking so wee.
