My Royal ball winder was having a hard time cranking the bulky-weight Magic Ball I was trying to wind. I still needed another 20 yards but I didn't want to break the 16-year old ball winder.
It was time to get the the big guns out: Stanwood Needlecraft jumbo-size metal ball winder.
I think I'll leave them both set up on my "Winding Station".
