Yesterday I turned my EEW Nano into a bobbin winder using a DIY quill attachment (aka bamboo dpn). My goal was to wind off the drop spindle using the wee e-spinner.
It worked but the process wasn't as smooth (or as graceful) as my usual set up.
It was also a little scary having an energized spike pointing at me. After only a few minutes of winding I stopped and went out to the garage and came back wearing Safety Glasses.
I did not want to have to explain an eye injury to The Man caused by my DIY fiber tool experiment.
