Today's Tally Farms Produce Box overflowed with leafy greens.
I customized this week's Produce Box ($3 extra) by removing the Gold Beets, Spring Onions, and the Living Chives and instead opted for the Spinach, Green Curly Kale, an extra head of Red Little Gem lettuce, and a bag of Organic Lemons. I try to do an even exchange so the price remains the same.
It's a good thing I received a box today. Having wonderful fresh produce offsets the birthday cake and other treats I brought home from our monthly LL group meeting.
But, just to be on the safe side our dinner was a green salad, Brown and Wild Rice, and The Man's Pacific Whitefish. A healthy meal with cake
balances out dontcha think? (And, no, we did not eat the blue 1/2" thick frosting.)
