The Gilmore Lil Gem called my name today. But first I had to find it.
Or rather I had to clear off the bench seat of fibery goodness.
Last June I was learning to weave Twill, ahem. Yes it's been awhile.
I loaded a boat shuttle with a bobbin of 16/2 natural and wove a plain weave section which will be the turned hem for the dish towel on the loom.
But, you know, I think I need to practice weaving on the Lil Gem so I'm just gonna do some plain weave with the 16/2 natural weft for a while.
I like the way the simple cloth looks and it feels nice to just throw the shuttle back and forth.
