On Tuesday my Spinning Buddy from the Guild sent me home with a paper sack filled with Clemes & Clemes Good Clean Fiber. In the sack there were zip-lock plastic bags of Jacob fleece, Merino fleece, and Alpaca. The scouring (washing) has already been done hence the name "Good Clean Fiber". Lupe also gave me her Louet Mini Combs - they are small and surprisingly light, they feel wonderful in my hands.
Lupe said prepping fiber hurts her hands and she couldn't do it anymore. She wouldn't take any money for any of it. They are quality items, I know she paid good money for all of it.
I have an idea. It makes me sigh with happiness to prep great fiber and with the super-clean Jacob fleece and lighweight Louet Mini Combs I can even do it while sitting at the dining table. (Truly, no mess at all.)
I will try to prep a little bit several times a week and give her back Ready to Spin fiber.
A win-win for both of us.
