Catching up on two stories:
Although Tour de Fleece 2024 officially came to an end on July 21st I seemed to have dropped out of the "race" on the 18th when I failed to spin on that day (and the following two days). Anyway, I am pleased with the goals I worked on and enjoyed the Spin-a-long.
The Man and Nell went as far south as Alamitos Bay. He ventured around the man-made THUMS Islands, aka Oil Islands, aka Astronaut Islands and took his skiff out for a closer look.
It didn't take long before the noise, crowds, and craziness of Southern CA sent him homeward bound.
The Man and Nell's Tour of the Southern California coast came to an end on July 29th when he cruised into Ventura Harbor, Nell's home port.
