Taking advantage of the wee bit of morning sun to show the vibrant colors of two skeins of Noro Kureyon yarn that I've selected for the replacement fingerless mitts. Since I have two skeins I decided to make a matching pair.
I unwound the yarn till the colors on both skeins lined up evenly and cut out the part that didn't jibe.
I'm not sure why I'm desiring matching gloves. Well, it might be because there is a clear line between the blue and the magenta color and it would look nice if both gloves lined up in the same way. I know this because I have already knit four inches plus the thumb gusset before I decided to rip it all back and make a matching pair: mates.
The tricky part about Noro Yarns are that the colors are not always consistent from skein to skein despite the same Colorway and Dyelot numbers. Sometimes their color joins are a bit, er . . . artsy.
We'll just have to see how it goes.
